Surveillance
The aim is to reinforce the surveillance of the sites, and to undertake a number of specific interventions aiming at the long-term improvement of the regulatory issues concerning this species.
With this in mind, police operations will be two-fold:
- prevention through increased public awareness
- enforcement through site surveillance, organisation of specific operations, control of breeding establishments and of individual breeders, and e-commerce surveillance.
